Description
PR 73236864 SPE7M218R0046 The proposed procurement is for NSN, 1710-00-045-7162, Purchase Tape Assembly (NAVAIR PART NUMBER 510534-8-920SP), made in accordance to 80020 NAVY drawings. The total quantity required is 63 units with ranges up to 80 units. Location is San Diego, CA and New Cumberland, PA. Item is coded as a Critical Safety Item, and requires source approval from NAVAIR, Lakehurst. Solicitation is unrestricted. The small business size standard for NAIC CODE 313220, Narrow Fabric Mills and Schiffli Machine Embroidery is 500 employees. Contract type will be firm-fixed priced for a base quantity of 63 units. Requested delivery is approximately 590 days with First Article Testing and Production Lot Testing. Solicitation will require FOB Destination with Material Receipt Inspection at contractor's facility. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Offerors are also advised to update their Representations and Certifications in the System for Award Management (SAM). The following applies: Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the Unites States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. Dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The solicitation document contains information that has been designated as "Military Critical Technical Data." Only businesses that have been certified by the Department of Defense, United States/Canada Joint Certification Office, and have a valid requirement may have a copy of the solicitation document. All requests for copies of the solicitation document must include a certified copy of DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement.
