- The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to issue a solicitation on a sole-source basis to Carahsoft Technology Corp., 1860 Michael Faraday Dr Suite 100, Reston, VA 20190-5328, for the Sub-Capacity Sybase ASE Enterprise software license and support. Carahsoft is the only authorized reseller for SAP NS2 services and products. CPSC currently have a ongoing maintenance contract with Carahsoft for development and production environments. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can supply the service may give written notice to the Contract Specialist via email at dbraswell@cpsc.gov, by 1 PM EST on MAY 7, 2018. SUPPORTING EVIDENCE MUST BE FURNISHED IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL, to the above listed email address, Attn: Derrick Braswell, Contract Specialist. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS. Responses will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Government. If no responses are received, CPSC will proceed with negotiating a sole source award to Carahsoft Technology Corp.
