- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to REMEL, INC. This requirement is to purchase custom plates equipment for the following; YCMV1PNAM Custom Dry Mic Plate, YCMV1MSX Custom Dry, Gram -RUO, YCMV1AUCA Custom Dry, Gram -RUO, YCMV1CIDO Custom Dry Research Manual Plate. REMEL, INC is the only vendor that can supply the custom plates. This contract action is for a requirement for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, all quotations/responses received within ten (10) business days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All vendors/prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to an award of a federal contract. All questions must be in writing and must be emailed to Akela Long at oga1@cdc.gov. Please reference 75D301-18-Q-68280 on all correspondence.
