- CED 2E02-B for shopping carts. This is a FBO Request for Information (RFI) for a shopping carts (CED 2E02-B) requirement. As part of its Market Research, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified, interested contractors capable of providing Shopping Carts as further described in the attached CED for this requirement. The anticipated period of performance for this requirement is November 1, 2019 - October 31, 2020 with four one year option periods. The contractor will be required to deliver directly to various Commissary stores in the following locations: Continental United States (CONUS). For Alaska and Hawaii, Far East, Puerto Rico, and Europe, shipping carts will be shipped door to door by source loading a container at the Contractors facility. The estimated dollar value for this requirement is anticipated to be $11 Million. In your response to this RFI, at a minimum, it is requested to please indicate if the Shopping Cart available meets the Government's minimum needs as indicated in each CED, where it is made, and relevant information on the company, such as whether it is classified as a Small or Large Business. Responses to this RFI are not quotes in which DeCA will make an Award. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). Do not submit pricing information in response to this RFI. The Government does not intend to award based on responses to this RFI. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of DeCA's Market Research. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. No RFP exists; therefore, please do not request a copy of the RFP. DeCA is not required to use FBO for any resulting RFP. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. DeCA will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFP, make award(s), or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFP.
