- W81K02-18-Q-0030 Amend 0001 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation: W81K02-18-Q-0030 Amendment: 0001 Closing Date: 30 April 2018, 10:00 AM HST a. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received; 1. Question: What are the MRI Specs, items such as 8 channel, 12 channel, 16 channel, strength of MRI, all the MRI machine specifications. Answer: The MRI - 1.5Telsa strength, 18 up to 32 channel TIM (Total Imaging Matrix) to allow more coil combinations when scanning a body part, Automated Contrast Agent Injector, 8-ch knee coil, 8-ch wrist coil, 8-ch foot/ankle coil, CISS/DESS Composing SWI BLADE, 3D Distortion Correction, and 3D MPR/MIP. (The Government is not specifying a manufacture.) (See New Paragraph 5.7 to PWS) 2. Question: Why get a temporary "trailer" MRI or you can get a new modular MRI Suite. Answer: Facility is currently scheduled to receive an MRI replacement, just need a temporary MRI during construction period. 3. Question: Will this system be operated by your MRI technologists? Or, will we need to supply technologists? Answer: Will be operated by our technologists. 4. Question: If your MRI Technologists will operate the system, will we need to supply applications training? And, for what period of time will training be required? Answer: 1 week of training. (See New Paragraph 10.6 to PWS) 5. Question: Is your MRI pad capable of handling an 8.5' X 48' mobile MRI Trailer, have a nearby water supply, providing 480 V, 3 phase, 150 amp power, and supplying a data communication cable and a telephone cable? Answer: There will be no Pad in place, trailer will need to be parked in parking lot. There is enough space to accommodate 8.5 X 48 trailer. Power and water will provided by the facility along with communication cables to include phone. (See Revised Paragraph 10.3 to PWS) 6. Question: You state this SOL is a Total Small Business Set Aside. If two (2) SDVOSB contractors submit bids, would this give them an advantage as to being awarded the contract? Or, would their bids be evaluated based on the same parameters as a Small Business? Answer: Requirement is 100% small business set-aside. Further set-aside (i.e., HUBZone, SDVOSB, or WOSB..) will be evaluated the same as a 100% small business set-aside. b. Revised the Performance Work Statement (added paragraphs 5.7 and 10.6 and revised paragraph 10.3 of PWS/ See Amend0001Atch1) c. Add New CLINs 0005 /Travel and 0006 / Training (See Amend0001Atch1); d. Revised Addendum to 52.212-1, Volume II - Technical (See Amend0001Atch1); and d. The closing date has been extended to 30 April 2018, 10:00 AM HST.
