THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors who can provide the following item: Wheelchair Washing Machine / Sanitizer (see salient characteristics on page 3) All responses shall be submitted no later than 07:00AM EST on May 1, 2018. All interested parties should respond in writing, via email, to Jamie.sullivan4@va.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. In response, please include the following: Company/individual name, Address, Point of contact with phone number Indicate FSS/GSA contract number or Open Market, as applicable FSS Category you qualify for Tax ID number DUNS number Capabilities statement Company Socio-Economic SIZE (example large, small, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB etc.) Sufficient information to demonstrate the ability to provide the required items If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned or Veteran-Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). The Veteran Administration is required to give priority to SDVOSB and then VOSB concerns if there should be sufficient firms available to compete under a set-aside. If insufficient veteran owned small business responses are received, the acquisition will be set-aside for small business participation if there are sufficient firms available. If insufficient small business responses are received, the action will be advertised for full and open competition. The NAICS 339113 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of 750 Employees. Interested firms are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.1201(a) Prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at the System for Award Management (SAM) as a part of required registration in conjunction with FAR 4.1102(a) that states, Prospective contractors shall be registered in the (SAM) database prior to award of a contract or agreement. Therefore, due to time constraints, vendors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov to be considered for an award. Salient characteristics Description of Need: Wheelchair Washing Machine / Sanitizer Must meet the following specs: Brand-name or equal to Medco Equipment Model 64X SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS Functions to be performed: cleanse and sanitize wheelchairs to cut down on infectious transmitted disease. Must be able to wash at least 2 wheelchairs at one time. Performance required: a hot water supply-110 degree max, equipped with a standard male garden hose fitting, Standard 110-volt outlet with GFI supported by a 15 amp circuit. Essential physical characteristics; Dimensions: 58 ½ in length maximum, 34 ¼ in width maximum, and 60 ½ in height (maximum). Must be able to hold wheelchairs that are up 42 inches in length and 36 inches in width.
