- Business Mgt Questionnaire Elevator Solicitation The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Herlong, CA intends to issue a solicitation for the requirement of: Elevator Maintenance and Repair Services. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this requirement is 238290; the small business size standard is $15.0 million. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government intends to make a single firm-fixed priced award to the lowest technically acceptable responsible party. Estimated Date of Award is June 15, 2018 and the contract Effective Date is October 1, 2018. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at https://www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The due date is June 8, 2018, 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Submission of Quotes Quotes shall be submitted on or before the quote deadline specified in Block 8 of the Standard Form 1449, page 1 of this solicitation. Box 900 Herlong, CA 96113 OR Email: Her/Quotes@bop.gov Mailed and hand-carried quotes must be delivered to the Contracting Officer at the address shown above no later than the time specified as the deadline for receipt of quotes. The official point of receipt for hand-carried quotes will be at the front lobby area of the address listed above. Emailed quotes will be accepted in.pdf format only and will be deemed received at the time received as indicated on the email notification. Emails rejected by filters are not the responsibility of the government. Quotes received after the quote deadline will be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1(f). No faxed quotes will be accepted. Each quoter shall complete and submit the following forms, clauses, and statements with his/her quote. Failure to do so may cause your quote to be considered unacceptable. 1. Standard Form 1449 2.
