- Amendment 0001 revises the Performance-based Work Statement (PWS) and extends the solicitation. The Revised PWS is Attachment 3. The primary revision to the PWS is Turnaround Time is reduced from 15 workdays by 10 workdays to 5 workdays. The Response Due Date is extended to 05/02/2018. This Solicitation Notice is to announce the U.S. Department of the Interior (DOI), U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for analysis of USGS prepared graphite targets by measurement of the ratios of carbon isotopes (14C, 13C, 12C) in the targets by accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) in accordance with the FedConnect posted solicitation. A copy of this combined synopsis/solicitation may be accessed at FedConnect, www.fedconnect.net. The FedConnect solicitation reference number is 140G0218R0012 and is being issued as a Request For Proposal RFP. The policies contained in FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for solicitation, evaluation and award prescribed in Part 15, as appropriate, shall be used for this acquisition. All requirements for preparation, submission, and receipt of proposals contained in the solicitation and amendments as posted at FedConnect shall be adhered to. All responses must be submitted via e-mail to Don Downey, ddowney@usgs.gov.
