- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) 140P1418Q0064. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-97 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition is in support of Dinosaur National Monument. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform hazardous tree mitigation at Dinosaur National Monument. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730. The small business size standard is $7.5 Million. Contractor must be able to provide all services required in the Statement of Work (SOW). Award will be made to the lowest priced technical offeror that meets the requirements stated in the SOW and the solicitation. Pricing for all line items must be submitted with the initial offer. Partial quotes will not be accepted. The Service Contract Labor Standards clause applies to this requirement. See Attachment #4-Wage Determination.
