- NAICS: 311999 - All Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing Size standard: 500 employees Competitive - Full and Open Class Code: 89 - Subsistence (Food) Subject: Subsistence for Dredge Goetz Crew - One Time Purchase Place of Performance: Fountain City, WI Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a supply requirement for nonperishable subsistence. The Dredge Goetz crew will require a grocery delivery for the start of the dredging season (late April - early May). This fixed price contract is for furnishing and delivering subsistence and related supplies for the Dredge Goetz vessel to Fountain City, WI. This shall be a one-time large order. This will be an unrestricted solicitation. Firms of any size are encouraged to submit a quote. The delivery site is Fountain City, WI. Delivery will occur sometime between Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The Dredge crew will assist with offloading of groceries from contractor's truck. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 7-10 days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, this time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking fbo.gov for any update(s) to the Notice. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers), the contractor must provide registration information to the System for Award Management (SAM). All Offerors must be registered in SAM, have an active account, and have completed the Representations & Certification sections (FAR and DFARS) prior to receiving an award. Initial registration could take up to 4 weeks. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished, at www.sam.gov.
