- Sources Sought - Request for Information (RFI) Notice Description: Technical Equipment - Antennas Requirement Title: Brand Name or Equal - Harris Corporation Communication Systems RFI No: M68909-18-I-7640 For Information Contact: Ms. Indrika S. Grizzelli at 760-725-2363, indrika.grizzelli@usmc.mil NAICS Code: 334515 with a size standard of 750 employees Description Technical Equipment - Antennas Requirement The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) is seeking sources able to provide Brand Name equipment manufactured by Harris Corporation, or equipment that is equal to the named Harris Corporation equipment, with form, fit and functionality identical to those items listed below. The Marine Corps has requirements for Harris products, by part number and name, or products that are equal to those identified Harris products. MCTSSA intends to use the results of this Sources Sought - RFI to help determine its acquisition strategy. The required items are as follows: Name/Part Number Quantity SYS, DUAL 50W MULTIBAND MP VEHICULAR, NO R/T 1 Part Number RF-7800M-V250 ANTENNA COUPLER SYSTEM OD 2 Part Number RF-382A-15TM CABLE ASSEMBLY, R/T-P/A (RF) 2 Part Number 10181-9821-0004 CABLE ASSEMBLY, PA-RT 2 Part Number 10535-0720-A060 CABLE ASSEMBLY, RF-5055 TO VAU 2 Part Number 10570-0716-A006 PWR AMP, 400WATT, FALCON II 1 Part Number RF-5834H-PA101 Antenna, Vehicular, 30-20000MHZ, MB, Green 2 Part Number RF3187-AT320 Answering the Sources Sought - RFI Interested parties are requested to submit a rough order of magnitude cost estimate based on the information provided in this Sources Sought - RFI. Responses should be made in simple statements that state the capability of providing the requested brand name or equal items. Responses must identify the source of the brand name or equal items as Harris Corporation, a different manufacturer, or as a distributor/reseller for Harris or another manufacturer. If the product is not manufactured by Harris, responders must demonstrate that their non-brand name proffered product is equal to the Harris items. Responses can be made via email to the address provided herein. The responses to this RFI will be used for informational purposes only. The information will be used to help inform the Government of possible sources. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The US Government is neither seeking nor accepting unsolicited proposals. The Government will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response for the RFI. Therefore, any costs associated with the RFI submission is solely at the interested Vendor's expense. Presently, through this Sources Sought - RFI, the Government is in the planning process of determining the most suitable method of acquiring these products. The Government may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small business, or businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) program. If an interested vendor qualifies under any of these classifications, please note that on the email response. All responses to this Sources Sought - RFI must be received by May 11, 2018, 1600 hrs. PST. Please include the announcement number in your email. All submittals should be addressed to Ms. Indrika S. Grizzelli, indrika.grizzelli@usmc.mil. Not responding to this Sources Sought - RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY.
