- AFMETCAL at Heath OH intends to issue a solicitation at some future date for the purchase of an Automated High Vacuum Gauge System. This will be solicited as full and open competition. The Government envisions a Firm Fixed Price type contract for the purchase of 1 unit. The requirement is for an Automated High Vacuum Gauge System in accordance with Purchase Description 18M-888A-PR, Rev. 5 dated 31 January 2017. The pre-solicitation number is FA2263-18-R-0002 and shall be referenced on all correspondence submitted. This notice shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for any information submitted as a result of this notice. Interested parties should submit questions to Michael Hickey, AFMETCAL, 813 Irving-Wick Dr. W., Horton Building, Heath OH 43056-1199.
