- Description
- DLA Distribution Pearl Harbor, HI (DDPH) has identified a continued need for distribution and warehousing services which will be advertised under solicitation SP3300-18-R-5007. DDPH's primary mission is to perform receipt, storage (to include inventory and stock readiness functions), and issue functions for local customers. The work to be performed is in a distribution and warehousing environment. The scope of this requirement includes all management, personnel, and supervision, in addition to materiel, tools, equipment, transportation and any other items and services to meet the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The incumbent contractor is Technica LLC, who is performing under Contract SP3300-16-D-5002 TO20. This contract expires 12 Jan 2019. The requirement is for a contract with a one-year base period inclusive of a two-month phase-in period and four, one-year option periods. The estimated period of performance (PoP) dates for this requirement are shown below. PoP Dates Base Period of Performance: 12 November 2018 - 11 November 2019* Option Period One: 12 November 2019 - 11 November 2020 Option Period Two 12 November 2020 - 11 November 2021 Option Period Three: 12 November 2021 - 11 November 2022 Option Period Four: 12 November 2022 - 11 November 2023 *Includes 60-day phase-in This acquisition will be solicited pursuant to full and open competition after the exclusion of sources, 100 percent small business set aside in accordance with FAR 19.5, under FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Contract award will be made on the basis of competition limited to small business concerns. It is anticipated that contract award will be made in November 2018. The NAICS code and Size Standard are 493110 and $27.5 million, respectively. All documents related to this notice will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website. Prospective offerors are cautioned concerning their responsibility to access the website for any amendments/modifications and/or solicitation postings related to this pre-solicitation notice. There will be no advance notification of amendment/modification/solicitation issuance. Prospective offerors are advised to consult the website frequently to check for the issuance of amendments/modifications and/or solicitations. The tentative timeframe for issuance of the Request for Proposal (RFP) for the above stated requirement is on or around the week of May 14, 2018.
