- CDRLs MT20 Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. Based on Market Research, the Government's need may be met by a type of item customarily available in the commercial market place that would meet the definition of a commercial item at FAR Subpart 2.1. The contracting officer shall solicit & award any resultant contract using the policies & procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5. 1377-01-263-3627, MT20, CCU-125/A Fire Extinguisher Cartridge, Part Number 897899-1 OR 1377-01-660-5593, MT20, CCU-125/A Fire Extinguisher Cartridge, Part Number CT01600-1 Quantity 1499 Delivery: FOB Origin Except as modified or amplified in RFP this item contains class C explosives. DFARS 252.223-7002, Safety Precautions for Ammunition and Explosives applies. Acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses, which may be found in Section I. The solicitation contains FAT, LAT, CDRLs, FOB Origin, X-Ray & N-Ray Requirements. This procurement is restricted to KIDDE Technologies and Ametek Ameron, LLC DBA Mass Systems authority (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This item is an explosive device. A safety survey will be required. Explosive weight 0.000860 or 0.000677 LBS, Explosive Class 1.4. Production lot testing, first article testing, contractor data requirements list, and FOB origin apply.
