- JA Notice Of Intent To Award Sole Source This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition - one responsible source. The applicable NAICS Code is 624190. The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Quantico Marine Corps Base, VA intends to award a sole source contract to: Hazelden Foundation 15245 Pleasant Valley Road Center City, MN, 55012-9640 The MCI-NCR RCO intends to award this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(iii), "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." This requirement is for the procurement of the The Living in Balance (LIB) program. The LIB program is a comprehensive and practical program for conducting group and individual treatment sessions for persons who have a substance use disorder, with sessions dedicated to serve clients who also have a co-occurring mental health disorder. Living in Balance can be used as the core treatment or as an adjunct treatment strategy, depending on the clinical setting, level of care, and type of program. Procurement planning for the follow-on effort is currently in process, and award is expected to be made on or around May 21, 2018, in accordance with fair opportunity under Far Part 13 procedures. The anticipated contract is for a period of performance from 01 June 2018 through 30 September 2018. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses shall be emailed to bradlley.higley@usmc.mil no later than 8 May 2018, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time. Late responses will not be considered.
