- FAR Clauses for W912P818T0029 1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation (W912P818T0029) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). All responsible sources may submit a proposal. 2. Description of Supplies: The contractor shall provide nine (9) Motion Reference Units (Ellipse2-A MRU - P/N ELLIPSE2-A-G4A2-B1 or equal) and other items outlined in the CLIN schedule/SOW for the Operations Survey Boats. 3. This action is 100% Small Business Set-Aside, the applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 and the small business size standard is 1250 employees. The applicable FSC Code is 2090. 4. The requirement will be procured as a firm fixed price contract. The basis of award will be the offer conforming to the solicitation specifications that provides the requested items or (technically acceptable equivalent - See FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal) at the lowest price to the government. 5. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7 the contractor must be registered in the Federal Government's System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Information on registration may be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun & Bradstreet. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Offerors must include a copy of the provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with its offer. 6. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by this agency. All offers are due by 3 May 2018, 10 a.m. local time and place. Scope of Work USACE New Orleans District Operations Division Motion Reference Units 1. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide nine (9) Motion Reference Units and other items outlined in the CLIN schedule for the Operations Survey Boats. Ellipse2-A MRU - P/N ELLIPSE2-A-G4A2-B1 or equal. 2. Warranty: The contractor shall provide a standard manufacturer warranty. A copy of the warranty should be provided with delivery of the equipment. Maintenance and service are not required over and above the standard warranty. 3. Delivery. All items shall be delivered to the following address: USACE New Orleans District ATTN: Dominick Childress 7400 Leake Avenue, Bldg. 788 New Orleans, LA 70118 Delivery shall be accomplished between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, except on Federal Holidays. The Government will not be responsible for any increased costs due to early or late delivery. Items shall be received by 15 AUG 2017. The contractor shall contact Mr. Childress at (504) 862-1831 or email: Dominick.r.childress@usace.army.mil to coordinate delivery and report delays in shipment, if necessary. 4. Inspection. Government personnel will inspect and approve equipment upon delivery to USACE New Orleans District. 5. Invoicing.
