Description
This is a market survey for Occupant Protection Analysis for Legacy Rotorcraft Services. These services require an engineering evaluation and will take into account the limitations of baseline seat/restraint attachment structure and available seat and restraint technology. Initially, five models of legacy rotorcraft have been selected for evaluation: the Robinson R-22, Robinson R-44, the Airbus AS350, the Bell 206, and the Sikorsky S-76. Additional models may be evaluated at the request of the biodynamics researchers and the Rotorcraft Standards Branch. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, servicedisabled veteranowned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing Occupant Protection Analysis for Legacy Rotorcraft Services. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to setaside the competition among small businesses, servicedisabled veteranowned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1.Contractor Size, NAICS Codes and Capability Statement with a detailed narrative that fully outlines and describes how its software and integration will meet all the requirements as outlined in the SOW, provide supporting information, which fully supports its capability. 2.Business Declaration 3.Potential Partnership Agreements 4.Current Contracts (I.E. GSA Schedules; eFAST MOA; Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) etc. currently in place or that will be place). Attached is a draft statement of work and Business Declaration Form. Please respond by submitting a filled out and signed copy of the Declaration form (please submit electronically, email to address below). All responses to this market survey must be received by Monday, May 07, 2018, 5:00 p.m. CST (Oklahoma Time). All submittals should be submitted by email to: Federal Aviation Administration ATTN: Kimberly Sites Email: kimberly.sites@faa.gov If you're viewing this announcement from a source other than Federal Aviation Administration Contract Opportunities (FAACO), visit https://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm/announcement/view/30037 to view the original announcement.
