(8) Proposed Solicitation Number: W911QX-18-R-0036 (9) Sources Sought Closing Response Date: 05/09/2018 (10) Contact Point: Coleman Dieger, Contract Specialist, d.c.dieger.civ@mail.mil (11) A. Objective: To find sources that are qualified to meet the supplies/services as listed in section 11B. Note that the specific requirements in section C are subject to change prior to the release of any solicitation. B. The contractor shall provide a brand name, direct replacement, Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS), Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM) annual license and two (2) AAAM dictionaries that meet the following characteristics: 1. Method that quantifies the severity of injuries with respect to threat-to-life and long-term quality-of-life. 2. Method which allows analyst to analyze injuries for the purpose of survivability and vulnerability of US military systems. 3. Method which allows for consistent results across historical, current, and future analyses. 4. Method which allows for injury comparisons between DoD analysis centers and the medical command. 5. Option period providing training on use of the above license and dictionaries. C. Responses: All interested parties should notify this office in writing, mail, fax, or e-mail within the posted date. Responses shall include: (I)To what extent each of the specifications can be met. (II) Include your type of business (i.e. commercial, academia), whether your organization is classified as a large or small business based on the 1,000 employees that accompanies NAICS code 519130. If a small business, you must also list any small disadvantaged status you hold [HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB), etc.].
