- Infant and Toddler Items and Kits This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.207. Solicitation # 70FB7018R00000024 is a draft solicitation for Infant and Toddler Items and Kits. The government intends to issue a full and open solicitation for Infant and Toddler Items and Kits. The purpose of this requirement is to ensure that individuals affected by disasters are provided basic infant and toddler necessities until such time that longer term solutions are achieved or the affected area is able to return to normal function with minimal disruption of services. The NAICS Code is 624230 - Emergency and Other Relief; and PSC is 8940 - Special Dietary Foods. The government will conduct a competition to award Multiple Award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity contracts (MAC IDIQ) to allow contactors to compete for future task order awards. FEMA intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract with a base period of performance of one year with four twelve Month option periods. This pre-solicitation notice is for information only, and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to solicit contractual offers or award contracts. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. The Government will not reimburse the cost of any submission in response to this announcement -- the entire cost of any submission will be at the sole expense of the source submitting the information. The solicitation will be issued electronically via Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) at http://fbo.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement. FBO is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitations to the internet. Interested offerors should monitor the FBO page for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. The Government anticipates releasing the final Request for Proposal (RFP) in June 2018. This notice does not obligate the government to release an RFP or make an award of any type.
