Page 1 of 1 INTRODUCTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting bids and subsequently awarding a single, Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the DESIGN-BUILD NM-SPECT/CT Site Prep project at the Providence VA Medical Center (VAMC). PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor shall provide Design-Build services for the construction of utilities services and finishes necessary in the designated locations to allow for the installation of the Symbia Intevo SPECT/CT by others. The work shall include, but not limited to, all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment and permits necessary to provide for the removal of the existing flooring, floor repairs, new flooring, patching and painting of walls, removal of the existing drop ceiling, new ceiling, and relocation of electrical work. ADMINISTRATIVE: The solicitation will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 15, 19, and 36.3 Two-Phase Design-Build Selection Procedures and will be evaluated in accordance with the procedures listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be advertised as a total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Offers received from other than SDVOSB concerns will not be considered. The applicable NAICS code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 Million. The solicitation will be issued on or about May 18, 2018. The period of performance is approximately 270 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. The Magnitude of Construction is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000. All questions must be submitted in writing to the issuing office via email to: thomas.council@va.gov.
