- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: Notice Type: FA8224-18-R-0128RS Sources Sought Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is _541990_ which has a corresponding Size standard of _$ 15.0 M_. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hub zone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. Program Details: Currently Hill AFB is looking for contractors that can modify a Praxair Booth S5, Controller located at Hill AFB. This modification will involve the creation of a drawing plus the work involved with movement of the Praxair Booth controller from its current location to one approved by the 309 th CMXG Engineering staff. The modification/relocation of the controller may involve any and all of the following: - power & signal cables, hydraulic hoses/lines & pipes, water lines, and /or any other items unmentioned that relates to the functionality of equipment identified above. 3. Interested Vendor's shall include the following information in their responses: 1) Company name, address, phone number, primary contact(s), e-mail address, NAICS code(s), business size (i.e., small/large) and DUNS Number. 2) Provide a Statement of Capability that demonstrates your company can provide the equipment and service. 3) BUSINESS SIZE AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS: (a) Indicate whether your business is large or small (b) If small, indicate if your firm qualifies as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business (c) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act (d) Indicate if your firm is a certified Hub-zone firm (e) Indicate if your firm is a woman-owned or operated business (f) Indicate if your firm is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), (g) State whether your firm is registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). 4) This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract or otherwise pay for the information provided in response. Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. (5) No Proprietary, classified, confidential, or sensitive information should be included in your response. The Government reserves the right to use any non-proprietary technical information in any resultant solicitation(s.) This is a Source Sought Notice representing a market research survey and is not a Request for Quotation. NO CAPABILITY STATEMENTS MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER 21 May 2018. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME.
