Solicitation - FA5004-18-B-C004 - CHPP Phase A - Eielson AFB AK JA-3 AF Form 66 - CHPP Phase A - Eielson AFB AK JA-5 Drawings - CHPP Phase A - Eielson AFB AK JA-4 Wage Determination - CHPP Phase A - Eielson AFB AK JA-2 Specs for CHPP Phase A - Eielson AFB AK JA-1 SOW for CHPP Phase A- Eielson AFB AK Eielson AFB, Alaska has a requirement for electrical repair and modification to the Central Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) involving: 1. Upgrading and modifying the low voltage electrical and lighting systems at Eielson's Central Heat & Power Plant (CHPP). The Contractor shall provide new automatic transfer switch, and dedicated lighting transformer; provide an emergency lighting inverter with battery back-up, and an emergency lighting panel; and provide new light fixtures, conduit, conductor's boxes and appurtenances to replace the light fixtures in the basement and on the first floor of the CHPP. Demolish the existing light fixtures and associated conduit, conductors and appurtenances in the basement and on the first floor of the CHPP. Provide temporary services and lighting as necessary to maintain CHPP operations throughout the construction period. 2. Surfaces within the plant are covered in settled dust. Much of the dust contains silica and heavy metals. Many of the surfaces in the plant are coated with lead-based paint and there are asbestos containing materials within the plant. The contractor shall take appropriate measures to avoid exposing his workers to unacceptable hazards. The contractor shall provide all engineering, labor, equipment, and materials to perform the work required, in strict accordance with specification and applicable drawings at Eielson AFB Alaska. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. The disclosure of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204(f). The acquisition is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210, with a small business standard of $15M. The Government intends to award one Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website ( www.fedbizopps.gov ). Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package, as no paper copies will be furnished.
