Description

This is a sources sought notice only and it is not a solicitation notice. Please DO NOT provide a quote at this time. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of qualified potential contractors and their socioeconomic size classification in accordance with NAICS code 622110 General Medical and Surgical Hospitals and business size standard of $38.5 million. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After a review of the responses to the sources sought notice, a solicitation announcement may be posted to FBO based on the results from this notice. A response to this Sources Sought notice is not an adequate reply to the forthcoming solicitation. The Iowa City VA Healthcare System located in Iowa City, IA is seeking Scrubex Software and Equipment Maintenance and Repair See attached excerpt from the Statement of Work (SOW) for requirements. The vendor must have access to ScrubEx software keys and be able to provide detailed training documents on the ScrubEx software and hardware. This is not a solicitation and in no way obligates the Government to award any contract. Additionally, a response to this sources sought notice is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The purpose of this sources sought is strictly for market research purposes. Please send all responses to Mark Thyne at mark.thyne@va.gov NLT 10:00 am CDT on 15 May 2018. Statement of Work Technical Requirements: Services Description: Preventive maintenance on-site and off-site services to be performed on 3 MV ScrubEx Dispenser/Receivers, 3 SV Dispenser/Receivers, 2 LV Receivers and 2 LV Dispensers shall include: Network monitoring, software upgrades and adjustment of system equipment as required. Preventive maintenance on-site, shall include inspection, cleaning of electronic and mechanical components of equipment free of dust and replace any parts which show signs of wear or which may cause failure of the device. On-site service within 72 hours of contact for non-scheduled down equipment and unlimited phone support during working hours which are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Standard Central Time. One preventive maintenance visit per contract year. Task Deliverables: Failed equipment must be replaced or repaired within 72 hours during the contract period.
