(Amendment 1 posted on 5/4/2018.) This is a competitive 100% Small Business Set-aside Invitation for Bid (IFB). The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 237130 with a size standard of $36.5 million. This acquisition will be handled as an IFB prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between to $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Place of performance will be near Buckeye, AZ. The purpose of this project is to install 345-kV series capacitor equipment and platforms, 345-kV power circuit breakers, 345-kV coupling capacitor voltage transformers, control cable, fiber optic cable, and duplex switchboard; provide 345-kV disconnecting switches, 345-kV surge arresters, dry type transformer, and AC panelboard; provide grounding system, bus system, conduit system, insulated conductors and cables, terminal box and signs; provide foundations and anchor bolts for structures, electrical equipment, and material; provide galvanized steel structures and cable trench; perform necessary site work; and remove and dispose of electrical equipment, steel supporting structures, foundations, bus work, insulated cables, and conduits. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet free of charge.
