- To provide training and mediation services on transformative mediation model. Training will include webinars and the development of short Web Based videos on the topic of transformative mediation that can be used throughout GSA as a quick guide. In addition to training, conducting transformative mediation to include EEO related issues as well as workplace conflicts that are outside the realm of EEO. The General Services Administration (GSA) is one of three central management agencies of the Federal Government. GSA provides workspace, products and services, technology, telecommunications, and management policy for the Federal Government. GSA's mission is to "help federal agencies better serve the public by offering, at best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies." The Office of Civil Rights (OCR) administers and ensures Agency compliance with the laws, regulations, policies, and guidance that prohibit discrimination in the Federal workplace based on race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, genetic information, or reprisal. OCR is primarily responsible for encouraging resolution and processing of EEO informal and formal complaints, in accordance with applicable federal EEO laws and regulations. In addition to complaints processing, OCR is responsible for ensuring that agency associates are trained in EEO issues, No FEAR Act Training, Managers/Supervisors training, and the agency's EEO alternative dispute resolution (ADR) program.
