- Request for Information This Request for Information (RFI) by The U.S. Department of Labor seeks information/sources from qualified contractors that can provide a specialty color press, related print server software, and technical and maintenance support for print shop activities undertaken by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Sources Sought Notice for Request for Information (RFI) No. 1625DC-18-N-00005. The proposed acquisition will be classified under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 333244 Printing machinery and Equipment manufacturing. If the respondent feels another NAICS code is appropriate, feel free to suggest one. The selected vendor(s) shall provide equipment and associated technical assistance, maintenance, and training to the BLS Office of Administration (OA).The anticipated period of performance is one twelve-month base and four twelve-month option periods. The purpose of this RFI is to assist BLS in conducting market research for a specialty color press, related print server software, and technical and maintenance support for print shop activities and refine requirements to meet or exceed the minimum BLS requirements as defined in Section 3.1. Participation in this RFI is optional and not required in order to respond to any subsequent procurement that this contracting agency may take. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database which is located on the System for Award Management website, SAM.gov. The website for registration is http://sam.gov. All active CCR records have migrated to SAM. ALL QUALIFIED SMALL BUSINESSES INCLUDING 8(A) FIRMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. All information received in response to this Request for Information/Sources Sought that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
