- Market research questionnaire for DPW Preventative Maintenance Services. Draft performance work statement for DPW Preventative Maintenance Services. SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE for Directorate of Public Works (DPW) THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS LIMITED TO PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES TO BE COMPLETED AT FORT HOOD, TEXAS. RESPONSES TO THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ARE NOT CONSIDERED OFFERS AND CANNOT BE ACCEPTED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO FORM A BINDING CONTRACT. HISTORICALLY THIS WAS A 100% SET ASIDE FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The Mission Installation Contracting Command is re-issuing this sources sought as there have been substantial changes to the performance work statement (PWS). This sources sought serves as a means to conduct market research to identify active stakeholders having interest in and the resources to support this requirement for Preventative Maintenance Services for the installation. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561210, Facilities Support Services. This industry comprises establishments primarily engaged in providing operating staff to perform a combination of support services within a client's facilities. Establishments in this industry typically provide a combination of services, such as janitorial, maintenance, trash disposal, guard and security, mail routing, reception, laundry, and related services to support operations within facilities. These establishments provide operating staff to carry out these support activities, but are not involved with or responsible for the core business or activities of the client. Establishments providing facilities (except computer and/or data processing) operation support services and establishments providing private jail services or operating correctional facilities (i.e., jails) on a contract or fee basis are included in this industry. The small business size-standard for this NAICS code is $38.5 million. A continuing need is anticipated for Preventative Maintenance Services. These services are currently being fulfilled through contract number: W9124J-12-D-0012. The Period of Performance (POP) will be for one (1) base year from the date of contract award with four 1-year option periods. The draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is strictly voluntary; the government assumes no financial obligation for any costs incurred and no submittals will be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP), if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps.gov). It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor FedBizOpps for additional information pertaining to this requirement.
