2 Countertop Ice and Water Dispensers Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System New Orleans, LA 1. Department of Veterans Affairs Southeast Louisiana Veterans Healthcare System (SLVHCS) is seeking a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to deliver and provide inspection regarding the Countertop Ice and Water Dispensers for the SLVHCS. This acquisition is Set Aside 100% Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business. INSTRUCTIONS TO SOURCES This is a Sources Sought Notice and is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Any information provided to the Government as a result of this Sources Sought Notice is voluntary. To reiterate, this is a Sources Sought Notice that is for planning purposes only and is intended to identify Service Disable Veteran Own Small Business who can support this requirement. INSTRUCTIONS to SOURCES FOR SUBMISSIONS Interested contractors shall submit a response to Debra James via email at debra.james3@va.gov. Responses are due no later than 5/15/2018 4:00pm Central Standard Time. Within your email please provide your capabilities statement and indicate if you can provide all items listed and instructions within this document along with delivery and inspection. Statement of Work Countertop Ice and Water Dispensers Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System New Orleans, LA 04/03/18 1. PURPOSE 1.1 The purpose is to provide countertop ice makers for the Community Living Center (CLC) at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) Transitional Living building at 2400 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. 2. SCOPE 2.1 The Contractor shall provide all listed equipment. All products must meet all salient characteristics defined in this section. 2.2 SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS 2.2.1 Ice Machine Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: FOLLETT Part Number 15CI100A-IW-CF-ST-00 OR EQUIVALENT as follows: Specifications/Salient Characteristics: Fully assembled Air cooled Size: 22.5 H x 14.62 W x 23.5 D 15 lb. ice storage capacity Electrical 115 volt 60 hz 5 Amp Single phase Maximum fuse 15 amp 8 grounded cord with NEMA 5-15 90 ° plug Water consumption 12 gallons potable water/per 100 lbs. ice Ice vending capacity 125 lbs./24 hours Water consumption 12 gallons of potable water per 100 lb. of ice Compressed nugget ice Does not require user to contact in ice or water dispensing area Antimicrobial finish on water and ice contact surfaces Water inlet ¼ MPT Warranty: 2 years parts and labor on all components. 5 years compressor parts. 2.2.2 Drip Tray Drain Kit Suggested Manufacturer Brand Name: FOLLETT Part Number 00981977 OR EQUIVALENT as follows: Specifications/Salient Characteristics 20 ounce capacity drip tray 4 leg kit (4 legs) Warranty: 1 year parts and labor on all components 3. DELIVERY 3.1 Contractor shall deliver all equipment to the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System (SLVHCS) Central Energy Plant building 2401 Tulane St, New Orleans, LA 70119, Attention: Jennifer Whitney (GEC), on July 11, 2018. 3.2 Deliver materials to job in manufacturer's original sealed containers with brand name marked thereon. 3.3 Package to prevent damage or deterioration during shipment, handling, and storage. 3.4 Maintain protective covering in place and in good repair until delivery is necessary. 3.5 Any government requested delayed delivery up to 90 days after initial award delivery date, shall be at no additional cost to the Government. 3.6 A pre-delivery meeting will be conducted 60 days prior to initial award delivery date for verification of delivery dates. 4. INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE: 4.1 The Contractor shall conduct a joint inspection with the COR upon delivery of machines. 4.2 Contractor shall provide dates of completion of punch list items and replacement parts and/or short ship items from the manufacturer(s). 5. DELIVERABLES 5.1 Operation and Maintenance Manuals 5.1.1 Binders - Quantity (2) each for items 2.2.1-2.2.2 5.1.2 Digital Copies- Quantity (1) each for items 2.2.1-2.2.2 5.2 Deliver compilation of all manufacturer recommended maintenance schedule and operation materials packaged in binder(s) to COR upon completion of installation. 6. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS 6.1 The Certification & Accreditation (C&A) requirements do not apply and a Security Accreditation Package is not required. 7. WARRANTY: 7.1 The contractor shall provide all manufacturers warranty with products upon delivery.
