Description: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 4, on behalf of the Lebanon VA Medical Center (LVAMC) intends to award a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed Price contract to provide acquire and install a hydrotherapy pool. This will occur as part of the Renovation for MOVE 595-13-106 project, which include renovations to the Wellness Center (current pool area, gymnasium, and fitness center). This is a brand-name only requirement for Hydroworx International. The Hydrotherapy pool shall include but not be limited to following salient characteristics:\ The Hydrotherapy pool will be 8 X 12 and contain removable stainless steel support bars, variable water temperature (up to 104 degrees F), commercial filtration system, and a 30kW heater. Ascending and descending floor (8 12 ) Hydrotherapy pool will accommodate up to four (1-4) patients during treatment session. 8 x 12 underwater treadmill with variable speeds ranging from.2 mph 8.5 mph the treadmill will cover the entire surface of the pool floor. The pool treadmill and moving floor are mechanically driven v- hydraulically driven (preventing down time) A hand held remote control will control the jets, treadmill, and other key aspects of the pool. Deep tissues massage hose. The pool will contain a resistance therapy jet system. The system will provide 200 different water speeds. The unit will include a computer, a control pendant and an underwater video monitoring system with viewing monitors. The cameras will provide views of the front and side of the underwater area. The images for the underwater cameras will be provided on 2 flat panel monitors for simultaneous front and side views of the patient. The pool will have an automatic water leveling system, which can automatically detect a drop in water level, and fill the pool to maintain proper circulation and filtration. The pool will have a computer documentation and software package that will allow clinicians to interpret the data collected thru the camera and other systems within the pool. Heating of the hydrotherapy pool will be provided via a heat exchanger. The NAICS Code, 339113 - Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing ; Size standard 750 Employees are to be used. This notice is NOT a request for quotes, or a solicitation of offers, or an invitation for bids. The Government does not anticipate receiving responses to this notice; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which may be considered by the agency. If parties choose to respond, any cost associated with preparation and submission of data or any other cost incurred in response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
