Updated Request for Proposal (RFP) SF 30 Amendment Documentation - Amendment #4 SOLICITATION: The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) hereby issues solicitation RA133W-18-RP-0028 as a Hub-Zone Set-A-Side for WSR-88D Radar Shelter Maintenance and Repair. Solicitation Issue Date: April 23, 2018 Site Visit: May 3, 2018 Questions Due: May 7, 2018 12:00 PM (MT) Proposal Due Date: May 29, 2018 10:00 AM (MT) Anticipated Award Date: September 2018 The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) requires maintenance of pre-cast concrete radar shelters as part of the shelter maintenance and repair Service Life Extension Program (SLEP). The Program is comprised of up to 160 Doppler radars located within the United States, of which 143 are eligible for SLEP. Each radar site has three pre-cast concrete shelter enclosures, including a Radar Data Acquisition (RDA) Shelter, Generator (GEN) Shelter, and Transit Power and Maintenance Shelter (TPMS), which houses the electronic radar equipment. The shelters at each radar site require periodic maintenance and repairs to provide continued protection of sensitive radar equipment, and ensure longevity of individual shelter enclosures. These shelters have been in service for 11-15 years. Maintenance of Aggregate wall & door, painted surfaces, and shelter roof are focus points. The Contract Period of Performance (POP) will include a three (3) year base period with two (2) one (1) year ordering periods. FAR Parts 12 and 13 are expected to be used for this requirement. This procurement is anticipated to be a Hub-Zone Set-Aside in accordance with the associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, with a corresponding size standard of $15.0M. The Contract Period of Performance (POP) will include a three (3) year base period with two (2) one (1) year option periods. FAR Parts 12 and 13 are expected to be used for this requirement.
