Description
The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm fixed price construction contract for TFCF Primary Channel Louver Rehabilitation. This procurement is set-aside for Total Small Business Concerns only. The work is located approximately 8 miles northwest of Tracy in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Joaquin Counties, California. The Primary Channel Louver Rehabilitation is located on the south side of the Delta-Mendota Canal Intake. The project work will be performed in Alameda County. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 and the related small business size standard is $36.5M. The principal components of work are as follows: A.Provide shop drawings of replacement primary channel louvers. B. Fabricate replacement primary channel louvers assemblies. C. Furnish full spare louver assembly. D. Furnish spare louver guide assembly. Spare louver guide assemblies are to have bushing installed and provide require installation hardware. E. Furnish spare shoulder bolts and associated hardware. F. Furnish spare guide assembly bolts and associated hardware. G. Provide temporary construction crane to remove and replace primary channel louvers. H. Remove and replace existing louvers channel louvers. I. Provide as-built drawings. Provide personnel training of equipment. The estimated cost of this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. This procurement will require a Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Solicitation 140R2018B0007 WILL be posted at www.fbo.gov on or around June 1, 2018. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is July 1, 2018. The solicitation and specifications must be downloaded at the above site. No paper copy of this solicitation or construction drawings will be distributed. System of Awards Management (SAM) and Annual Representations and Certifications, as required by FAR 4.1102, apply to this procurement. Prospective contractors must be registered prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Information on SAM registration can be obtained via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
