Description
RFQ This is a Brand Name requirement for (Qty. 2) Novatel PW7720E1-DDD-RYN-TBN-S1. Specifications: 2 x Dual Antenna Tightly Coupled GNSS and Inertial Navigation Sensor The Conformal Lightweight Antenna Structures for Aeronautical Communication Technologies project has a need for Qty. 2 dual antenna tightly-coupled Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Inertial Navigation Sensor (INS) for use in recording relative position and orientation of an aircraft relative to a ground terminal. Minimum Technical Specifications 1. Dual Antenna GNSS with tightly coupled INS o L1/L2 bands • Horizontal Single Point Positional accuracy: ≤1.2m • RTK positional accuracy: 2 cm • Total angle accuracy (roll pitch yaw): ≤0.1 deg • No pressure sensor or magnetometers used for orientation solution • Accelerometer range: ≥5g • Gyroscope range:≥150 deg/s • Static Heading accuracy <0.1 deg with 2m antenna baseline • Compatible with external Sensonor STIM300 inertial measurement unit (IMU)  RS422 connectivity • Compatible with Terrastar-L/C Correction service • Compatible with Novatel base station correction broadcasts • Internal logging of INS solution in ECEF coordinates for at least 12 hours at 20 Hz rate • Pulse per second output • 2x TTL event input triggers time tagged to GPS time within 30 ns • Operating temperature:-40C to +70C • Operating voltage: +9-36V • Power consumption:≤10W • IP67 housing and >10g RMS vibration tolerance, operating • Delivery within 8 weeks 3 V1.0 4-16 Accessories needed: *GNSS-303L-A -Active L1/L2/L5/L-Band GPS and L1/L2 GLONASS, Antenna, Avionic Arinc 743 configuration, TNC-connector, white *CABLE ASSY PwrPak7 All I/O Support 30cm *CABLE ASSY PwrPak7 DB15(F) - Open 2m *CABLE ASSY PwrPak7, Dual I/P Power 2m *L1/L2 GPS+GLONASS, B1 BeiDou, E1 Galileo, L-band, kinematic, zero-offset antenna, TNC connector Recommended Model Novatel PW7720E1-DDD-RYN-TBN-S1 is the recommended model that meets all required specifications. Competing products from SBG Systems (Ekinox2-D) and OXTS (xNAV550) were researched as alternatives. Both the Ekinox2-D and the xNAV550 offer a dual antenna tightly coupled GNSS/INS with internal logging capabilities. However, only the Novatel unit offers compatibility with an existing high accuracy Sensonor STIM300 IMU owned by the government that is planned for integration with the GNSS/INS solution. This IMU sensor already represents a substantial investment (~10k) and is required to meet performance targets for this project.
