Replacement of inoperational radio receptacles, VRC-111, (qty: 4) in the HMMWV communications system, GRC-206. 4 each VRC-111 MBITR VAE Unit Manufacturer: Thales Part No: 4101849-501 A search in the government supply system resulted in zero items in inventory. Google searches returned a list of five companies that had the parts (ASAP Parts Online, SE Aerospace, American Milspec, Adsinc, and Pacific). They were contacted to request a quote for the Thales proprietary equipment. All companies responded that they would not be able to provide a cost better than Thales and would not provide a quote.
