Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center San Diego, Regional Contracts Division proposes to enter into a Maintenance contract supporting the Advanced Climate Analysis and Forecasting (ACAF) System for Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC), Monterey, CA. ACAF System is a web-based tool developed by Clear Science, Inc. (The Contractor) maintained at FNMOC that allows users to interrogate terabytes of disparate climate datasets for the purpose of creating climate-related products for operational support. The ACAF assists decision-makers, support providers and intelligence analysts in creating long-range and/or probabilistic forecasts that assist in critical decisions such as force protection and safety, asset allotment and positioning, intelligence collection, and in the development of force planning and courses of action. The Contractor shall diagnose and remedy any and all problems with execution of the ACAF system as the program is being redesign under a separate contract action. This includes isolation and repair of any and all software defects (i.e., bugs) in the ACAF versions managed by FNMOC or issues relating to system deployment or updates and information assurance patches. Each such problem, defect, or issue shall constitute a separate Trouble Report (TR) as they occur. The total estimated value of the effort is $220,292.00 for one base year and four, 12 month option periods.
