Description
Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. WAARNGMEALCATERING is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-96, 06 NOV 2017 and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20161222. It is the contractor's responsibility to become familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 722320 with annual revenue not to exceed $7.5M. Description of Requirement: CLIN 0001 - Vendor will provide catered meals for up to 55 campers from 1700 PST 26 June 2018 - 1300 PST 29 June 2018. PROPOSED PRICE: $__________________ **THIRD PARTY VENDOR QUOTES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED** **SEE BELOW STATEMENT OF WORK FOR ALL DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS** STATEMENT OF WORK FOR CATERING SERVICES Description of Services: Contractor will provide catered meals for Child & Youth Services Junior Counselor Training on 26-29 June 2018 for 55 attendees per meal. Event will be held at Camp Murray, Tacoma, WA. We are looking for a food variety that can be served to all 55 members at a time. The majority of the consumers are under the age of 18. Buffet self-serve food items are preferred to keep cost down. Quotes submitted must include proposed menu for all days. Example menu items are listed below. Breakfast: cold cereal, oatmeal, pastries, fruits, eggs etc... Lunch: sandwiches, soup, salad, vegetables, fruit etc... Dinner: pasta, pizza, salad, chicken breast, vegetables etc... 1.0) Meals 1.1- The vendor will provide catered meals for attendees. Vendor must have licensed staff, who are all licensed in WA State Standards for food handling for food preparation. Vendor will transport all prepared meals to Camp Murray per meal and have proper identification for access to Camp Murray (driver's license, vehicle registration, and proof of insurance). 1.2- Meal Breakdown June 26 2018 - Dinner (55 people) June 27 2018 - Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner (55 people) June 28 2018 - Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner (55 people) June 29 2018 - Breakfast / Lunch (55 people) 1.3 Vendor will provide all materials for meals (meals, serving utensils, warming / cooling stations, beverages, eating utensils, plates, cups, serving gloves, etc.) There will be no access to kitchen space on site. 1.4 Vendor will be able to accommodate special food needs (vegetarian, vegan, and dairy/nut/gluten free) upon one (1) week advance request. Menu will be provided as part of the proposal, to include special food options. 1.5 Meal times will be 0730 Breakfast / 1200 Lunch / 1800 Dinner. Access to building will be provided by government event point of contact 30 minutes prior to meal. 1.6 Final meal numbers for meals provided will be given to the facility no later than 10 days out by government event point of contact. 1.7 Must have current and passing Food Service/Public Health Inspection (provide copy along with response). 1.8 As required by the Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 6060.2 Child Development Program, the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 7, Chapter II, Subchapter A, Part 226 provides guidance for provision of nutritious foods that contribute to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults. 1.9 All meals must be within the local government per diem rate. 2.0) Payment Procedures 2.1- These numbers are for planning purposes only. Government reserves the right to change the numbers for meals under this contract up to 7 days prior to the event. Additional meals required after the 7 days will not be authorized for this contract and will be paid via other means. 2.2- Meals for attendees will be paid for under contact. Invoicing will be done electronically through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Vendors must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive payment.
