Description

This Amendment to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation # 36C26218Q0653 is to answer questions submitted prior to the deadline of 1200 noon on 5/16/2018 and correct the Place of Performance address. Here are the questions received with answers: Question 1) Are there any "options" or specific features VA is request for these generators? No details are listed so are only basic units/items being required? There are no options or specific features requested for these generators. Only the basic unit being requested is required. Question 2) Are there any services requested such as one-time hook up/commissioning or training? These are extra and on-site charges. There are no services requested for this acquisition. Question 3) Is deliver time being based upon factory availability? All offerors can submit their delivery time based on their own lead time. Question 4) As we are a SDVOSB, have you researched are received other SDVOSB inquires to establish a SDVOSB set aside? Market Research was conducted and only 1 SDVOSB was identified so the "Rule of Two" was not met to justify an SDVOSB set aside solicitation. However, tiered evaluations will be used if more than two offers are received from SDVOSB or VOSB contractors.
