- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District, plans to solicit for a construction contract for Maintenance Dredging at Rouge River, Michigan. The work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: The project consists of mobilizing and dredging the full width of the Federal Navigation Channel and perform site repair work, including mowing in the Saginaw River Dredge Material Disposal Facility (DMDF). The dredged material from the Federal Navigation Channel shall then be hydraulically placed into the DMDF. Demobilize when dredging work is completed. General Information: This project is set aside for small businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 237990. The small business size standard for this requirement is $27.5 million. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 The solicitation is expected to be available in June 2018. A contract award is expected in July 2018.
