Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health, Clinical Center (CC) intends to increase the ceiling amount of the current ordering period for Contract HHSN269201300013I, a Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to ABO Pharmaceuticals, 7930 Arjons Drive, Suite A, San Diego CA 92126-6302. An increase of $450,000.00 will allow for the required quantity and type of vaccine to be purchased for the current season's patients and staff of the NIH. Timely procurement of the influenza vaccine is necessary to allow manufacturing of the needed doses over the summer months. This Contract is in place to fulfill the requirements of the NIH, Clinical Center's annual flu vaccine campaign, and the period of performance of the current ordering period remains unchanged from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12 in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements in FAR Part 6, specifically FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Lisa Schaupp, Contract Specialist, at the email Lisa.Schaupp@nih.gov, by the due date and time marked in this notice.
