Description

The National Park Service, Department of the Interior, anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does not constitute a solicitation. Accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation, once it is issued. Spacific instructions on submitting proposals will be contained in the solicitation documents, It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about June 30, 2018. The entire solicitation package, including all attachments, will be available electronically at www.FBO.GOV. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be made available. PROJECT SCOPE: The project consists of construction of Supply and set on site one prefabricated restroom building which shall conform to the requirements of the approved plans and section 13 40 02 Prefabricated Restroom Building. Final location within the Crystal Campground Area, will be determined by the Contracting Officer and the project site marked by NPS personnel. Except as provided herein, it is the intent of these documents that contractor shall be responsible for the purchase, transportation, site preparation, placement, connection, and any damages occurring to the building, until final acceptance of the completed installation by the government. The offeror selected shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, management and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project. Place of Performance: Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park, Tulare County, California, United States NAICS No. for this project is: 236220 This project is set aside for Total Small Business Per FAR 52.228-13, ALTERNATIVE PAYMENT PROTECTIONS ARE REQUIRED ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: In accordance with FAR 36.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $100,000 & $250,000. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (21-MAY-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
