Description

DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall provide design and construction services for Project 672-18-109 to Provide New Canopy from Administrative Building to Main Hospital Entrance at Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), VA Caribbean Healthcare System, San Juan, PR. All work to be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work provided with the solicitation Estimated Target Completion Period: 365 calendars days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) Magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. NAICS 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Constructions. Size Standard is $15.0 Million. Product Service Code Y1AZ This design-build, project/solicitation that will use the trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. The solicitation will be issued in 3rd Quarter FY 2018. Award to be made by of before September 30, 2018. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov At the time of proposal submission, contractors must have current registration/certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.SAM.GOV and VetBiz at www.vip.vetbiz.gov. Proposals of contractors not registered/certified in both databases will not be considered for award. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
