If you have any questions or comments on accessing the solicitation on FedBizOpps.gov, please email Freeman Knowlton at freeman.knowlton@us.af.mil Projects YTPM 17-0002, 17-0003, 17-0011, and 13-0076, Replace Generators, will be located at Westover Air Reserve Base, Chicopee, MA. The four projects will be treated as one requirement. This acquisition will be issued as a Firm Fixed Price contract with a period of performance of 180 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. This project is being solicited as a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238210 (Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors), with a size standard of $15,000,000. The solicitation is issued on 20 April 2018 and is being issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimated magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation, the correct time and location will be included in the solicitation. Prior to bidding, interested offerors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM). Firms can register via the SAM internet web-site at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. If the offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity must have a valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an offeror is not successfully and actively registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective offeror. The solicitation and all supporting documentations, specifications, and drawings will be posted at this site for review and download. All contractors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at this site https://www.fbo.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to check the website periodically for any amendments to the solicitation. There will be no other form of distribution for this solicitation other than downloading from this site.
