Description
Draft SOW THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The purpose of this sources sought notice is for the Architect of the Capitol to survey the market about solutions to thr following requirement: The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is responsible to the United States Congress for maintenance, operation, development, and preservation of the facilities under its jurisdiction. The USBG is a living plant museum that informs visitors about the importance, and often irreplaceable value, of plants to the well-being of humans and to earths fragile ecosystems. The mission of the USBG requires the growing, care, and propagation of many plant species. The USBG has not substantially updated our lock system(s) since installation or building renovation. Therefore, we have had a lock system in place for over 15 years. Copies of these keys may or may not have been adequately tracked. Therefore, access to the facilities can occur by unapproved personnel. The USBG requires a system, which can control access without requiring every lock in the facility to be replaced often. The Office of Security Programs (OSP) have recommended the USBG use the same system as used in their applications. The USCP have used the Medeco Logic electro-mechanical system with CLIQ manager server software. Using the same system will enable an enterprise solution. Please see draft SOW for detailed requirement description.
