Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) only; it is not a request for quotations or offers. 52.215-3 -- Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997) (a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although proposal and offeror are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. (c) This sources sought is issued for the purpose of conducting market research to identify vendors that are capable and qualified to provide Audio Visual material solutions and services. The Scope of Work is expected to include, but not be limited to, the following: Planning, Engineering, and Design; Programming, Commissioning, and Delivery of Implementation hardware; Installation, Testing, and Training of a turnkey solution; and Documentation of Completion in meeting the customer specifications and objectives for an Audio-Visual upgrade of a Medical Facility Simulation Center. All interested parties should respond with the following information, in writing, to the Contract Specialist listed below. 1) Company/individual name 2) Address 3) Point of contact with phone number and e-mail address 4) Company Socio-Economic Status (example large, small, SDVOSB, VOSB, WOSB etc.) 5) Information describing your interest, 6) Indicate FSS/GSA contract number, if applicable 7) Tax ID number 8) DUNS number 9) NAICS (if other than listed) 10) Capabilities statement 11) Past Performance with references of complex Audio-Visual upgrades to highly technical and specialized centers (Simulation Centers, Training Facilities, Operations Centers, etc). Past Performance completion date must have been in the past 12 months. If your firm is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned or Veteran Owned Small Business, you must be CERTIFIED in VetBiz (see internet site: http://vip.vetbiz.gov). All vendors are required to be registered at the in System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov/. Due to the needs of the government and Department of Veterans Affairs, only vendors currently with an active registration in SAM will be considered as a responsible and qualified source.
