- RFI NFAC Exciters Slides RFI NFAC Exciter Questions **Update to RFI Posting - See two (2) attachments as a result of Industry Day held on 10 May 2018. Request responses to attached questions and/or statements by close of business Thursday, 21 June 2018.** The Government plans to host an Industry Day that will enable partners from industry to inspect the existing equipment, interact with Government and National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex (NFAC) facility engineering personnel regarding the operation of the equipment, and understand directly from the Government what the planned acquisition is expected to be. The Government requests that industry supply the requested answers to the questions below and the requested estimated design, fabrication, and installation costs (for budgetary purposes only) two (2) weeks after the Industry Day. The Government is not seeking a response that would replace the complete existing system with Variable Frequency Drive systems. Industry Day will be held on 10 May 2018 at 0830. See Atch 1 map for detailed directions. All interested parties should plan to attend Industry Day. Visitors will be required to obtain a visitor badge the morning of Industry Day. US Citizens shall have a non-expired state issued identification that meets the Real ID Act of 2005 to obtain a badge. Names of US Citizen visitors need to be provided at least one (1) week prior to Industry Day. Foreign Nationals will be required to submit a photocopy of the inner front 2 pages and inner back 2 pages of their passport three (3) weeks prior to Industry Day. Along with the pictures of the passport, Foreign Nationals will also need to complete Atch 2 "Form IV - Part 1." Entrance for an approved Foreign National will be granted at least 1 week prior to Industry Day. During Industry Day, Foreign Nationals will be escorted throughout their site visit.
