Page 1 of 1 Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 1, intends to award a sole source award contract to GE HEALTHCARE, a division of General Electric Company, 3000 N Grandview BLVD W-443 Waukesha WI 53188 for an upgrade on GE Equipment, for the West Haven VA Medical Center. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 1 intends to award a sole source task order for the procurement of a full system upgrade to ensure that the GE Healthcare equipment is in operation and meets NFPA-99, OSHA, and CDRH specifications. The equipment is located at the West Haven VA Medical Center in the Biomedical Engineering Department. This order will provide parts, labor, testing, software upgrades and calibration to maintain the systems. This action shall accomplish award under an existing Veterans Administration (VA) National Acquisition Center (NAC) contract VA797H-17-D-0024/ SPE2D1-17-D-0015. Furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, software updates, parts, etc. for complete On-Site upgrade for the below General Electric (GE) Equipment: Equipment/Part Number GE Mac-Lab ML Part Number: P1963UG GE Carescape Patient Data Module Part Number: 2042084-001 GE Centricity Cardiovascular Information System (CVIS) Part Number: P0007MTED NAICS:     811219 Size Standards: $20.5 Million THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award. Responses are due by May 30, 2018 at 12:00pm EST. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to safa.shleiwet@va.gov.
