Description

THIS IS A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT LIMITED TO SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding pre-solicitation notice to perform all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to RENOVATE AND MODERNIZE ELEVATORS, BUILDING 3362, NBSD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 238290 “ OTHER BUILDING EQUIPMENT CONTRACTORS with a corresponding small business size standard of $15 million. The FAR 36.204 construction cost magnitude of this project is $1,000,000 TO $5,000,000. THE SOLICITATION WILL BE AVAILABLE ONLY IN ELECTRONIC FORMAT. The solicitation will be posted to the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://www.neco.navy.mil on or around June 18, 2018. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR ™S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITES DAILY FOR ANY AND ALL AMENDMENTS TO THIS SOLICITATION. Prospective bidders MUST register themselves on the aforementioned websites. Plan holders lists will not be faxed and will be available only at the NECO Internet website address listed above. Receipt of bids and subsequent public bid opening will be on or about July 18, 2018. Location for bid submission and public bid opening to be listed in the solicitation when released. The sole site visit for this procurement is tentatively scheduled for July 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM local San Diego, CA time. Instructions to bidders who wish to attend the site visit will be listed in the solicitation when released.
