Non-Competitive (Single-sole Source (Including brand-name)) Determination: N/A Description of Requirement: See attached filter specifications spreadsheet listing exact optical characteristics for 13 new customized filter sets (highlighted in green) that meet the spectral compatibility requirements with 9 existing filter sets (highlighted in yellow) for 22-color imaging using the Zeiss AxioImager.Z2 fluorescence microscope. Salient Characteristics: See attached filter cross-talk performance analysis with acceptable bleed-through percentage values using relative (normalized) comparison of the fluorescence signal from the primary fluorophore of interest selected for each of requested 13 new filter sets against all other fluorophores of interest using a total of 22 filter sets for 22-color fluorescence imaging, as indicated in the matrix table. Quantity: 13 - Customized filter sets. Warranty: Contractor shall provide standard commercial warranty, provided however. However, warranty shall be for no less than 1 year. Contract Type: A firm fixed price type contract is anticipated for this requirement. Summary Statement: This notice is a request for competitive proposals. All responses to this public notice must be received by 06/11/2018 4:30 PM EST and must reference the announcement number specified above. In addition the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size must be included in the response.
