Description
This brand name justified procurement through RSCS with the collaboration of the OEM, Mirion, is for training and provisioning conference for the IM-276A/PD dosimeters. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) has a requirement for the purchase of IM-276A/PD Battlefield Dosimeter training and provisioning conference. The NAICS code is 611710 and the Product/Service Code is U005. The proposed purchase order is being solicited on a sole-source basis to Radiation Safety & Control Services, Inc. (RSCS). The proposed action is for training classes for the IM-276A/PD Battlefield Dosimeter and the provisioning conference, for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). The basis for restricting competition is for the following reason: RSCS is the only source that is authorized to provide the training for Mirion, the Original Equipment Manufacturer. The NSWCCD intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order to RSCS using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Interested parties may identify their interest to this requirement by submitting a capabilities statement no later than 13 June 2018. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received by 06/13/2018 at 10:00 AM EST will be considered by the Government. Any questions must be received via e-mail by 07 June 2018 at 10:00 AM EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries should be directed to Patricia Vara at patricia.vara@navy.mil.
