- File Contains: Updated Statement of Work, Questions and Answers Document, and Wall Plate Port Photo AMENDMENT: The purpose of this amendment is to alter the Statement of Work and to attach a questions and answers document from the site visit. The following changes were made to section 3 of the statement of work: 1) Added handheld wireless microphone system. 2) Added wall plate HDMI/VGA with audio input connection. * Attachment 5/30/18 4 Pages AMENDMENT: The purpose of this Amendment is to extend the solicitation closing date. Solicitation Closing Date: Proposals must be received not later than 4:00pm, Eastern Time on 1 June 2018. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation ("synopsitation" hereafter) which is expected to result in award of a Fixed-Price contract for commercial items, i.e., Audio Visual System, as described under the attachment titled "Statement of Work (SOW)." The contract will have a period of performance consisting of seven business days. This synopsitation is prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Any award resulting from this synopsitation will be fully funded with Nonappropriated Funds (NAF) using contracting procedures in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 64-302. Accordingly, award will not be synopsized. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of this solicitation; (2) receives a rating of "Acceptable" on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable. Solicitation Closing Date: Proposals must be received not later than 4:00 pm, Eastern Time on 29 May 2018. Scheduled site visit: The site visit with the customer has been scheduled at 10:00 am, Eastern Daylight Time on 25 May 2018. Email filters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) are designed to filter emails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e.,.exe or.zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is not included, the email may not get through the email filters. Also be advised that.zip or.exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at WPAFB. If sending attachments with email, ensure only.pdf,.doc,.docx,.xls or.xlsx documents are sent. The email filter may delete any other form of attachments. A detailed description of the requirement including period of performance, provisions and clauses, representations and certifications, additional instructions to offerors, specific instructions for submission of proposals, an explanation of how proposals will be evaluated, performance work statement, etc., are provided in the attached solicitation documents. Upon award, any provisions that were in the draft contract (including representations and certifications) will be removed from the award document. This is a NAF purchase. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Non-appropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs.
