Description
Amendment #2 Incorporated The Purpose of Amendment #2 is to: 1) Extend the Solicitation Period to Monday - 06/04/2018 @ 1:00PM CST. 2) Address the below industry Q&A: 3) All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Q&A #2 -Industry Q) SRST License (Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) License) was sold as a license before, but now Cisco has them listed as Smartnet "services" and not "licenses". It is possible to quote Part # SRST-EP to included 100x endpoints licenses under the new model. Please advise if this would be acceptable or how you would like to proceed. -USMC A) I would like to ensure that we are able to use the SRST capability. If the offer submitted has slight variations to incorporate the updated system structure, that is acceptable. -Industry Q) Part # LIC-VMCNDTR-PMP-PK and LIC-TP-SMP-INC are EOL (End of Life), the replacement is "CMS" which is already part of your request, Please advise on correct part numbers and quantities required. -USMC A) If CMS provides the capability that LIC-VMCNDTR-PMP-PK and LIC-TP-SMP-INC would have provided in the past, then that is acceptable. -Industry Q) For part # PVDM4-128 we are using part # PVDM4-64U128 which is the factory upgrade option (PVDM4 64-channel to 128-channel factory upgrade) please advise if this is acceptable. -USMC A) Having the numbers 64 and 128 within the same part number is slightly confusing. It is our understanding that those numbers refer to the specific number of channels the DSP provides; thus, the part number with table entry provided from the data sheet on Cisco's website was: PVDM4-128(=)On-board motherboard or T1/E1 module slot 128-channel high-density voice DSP module, or spare. As long as we receive a 4th generation PVDM with 128 channels, that will be acceptable.
